PLA staff in London Marathon

Both John and Mike were competing to raise funds for a small local charity based in Hornchurch called “First Step”, which offers help and support for severely handicapped children, as well as much needed respite for parents. First Step receives no government funding, as is therefore reliant on donations and monies from fund raising events such as the London Marathon.

All the sponsorship money has now been collected and John was delighted to present Gill Hare from First Step with a cheque for a grand total of £2,928.
