PLA in Lord Mayor's Show

The Port of London Authority took to the streets of London for the Lord Mayor's Show on Saturday, 14 November.  As part of its centenary celebrations the port authority had a float showing PLA operations through the ages.  This included two people dressed as divers, one in diving gear from the early 1900s, when the PLA was set-up, the other in modern equipment.  This attracted the attention of the BBC who were broadcasting the event live on national TV, with presenter, Clare Balding interviewing the two divers.
