Cygnet Rowing Club win Fifth Annual Rowing Prize

Cygnet Rowing Club were the overall winners in the fifth annual PLA rowing awards. The winners received their £1,000 prize at a presentation ceremony at Cygnet's Chiswick base. It was the second year in a row that Cygnet have taken the top prize in the awards.
Most Improved club was American School in London and runners up were HSBC Rowing Club, both of whom received £ 500.
The annual awards were started in 2006 when the PLA introduced a new rowing code of practice for the tidal Thames, jointly developed with the rowing community.
