NEW in 2006: Sail back in time to explore an icon of British history
City Cruises plc has teamed up with the Cutty Sark to launch some exciting new packages exclusively for groups and Tour Operators, from April 2006.
Groups of 20 or more and individuals who are part of a fully inclusive tour will be able to discover the spectacular sights of London and its famous landmarks as they cruise along the Thames in comfort, aboard one of City Cruises’ luxury Riverliners. They will then be able to board the Cutty Sark in her dry dock in Greenwich. This tour of the historical sailing ship, launched on 22 November 1869, will embrace 135 years of history. Not only will groups enjoy a fascinating day out but also great value for money and a high quality of service.
Services available
City Cruises offer different sightseeing cruises aboard our luxury Riverliners passing through the top attractions in London such as London Eye, Tower of London, and St Paul’s Cathedral.
The sightseeing service operates from Westminster Pier to Greenwich via Waterloo Pier and Tower Pier. The cruises run at regular intervals throughout the day.
Passengers can travel in comfort aboard luxury Riverliners, which offer full access to the mobility impaired, whilst listening to the multilingual commentary system, which is available in five languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese) or the live commentary in English. Light refreshments and bar services are available onboard as well as pre-booked breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas with reserved seating and table service. The Riverliners are also baby friendly with baby changing facilities onboard and easy access for buggies.
We also provide afternoon tea or lunch within several packages such as a lunch cruise with an entry to the London Eye or the Tower of London, and for 2006 new packages with Cutty Sark.
If you fancy a romantic or entertaining evening join the London Showboat and taste a luxury 4-courses dinner with a cabaret singer to spice your evening, cruising over the amazing scenery of London by night.
Our R.S Hispaniola Bar and Restaurant, a ship permanently moored alongside Victoria Embankment, boasts spectacular views of the Thames - from St Paul’s to the House of Parliament - and offers a spectacular setting for corporate events exhibition, seminars, and receptions.
