Our Annual Stakeholder Forum will be held at IET London, Savoy Place, on Monday, 14 May 201

Hosted by PLA chairman, Christopher Rodrigues CBE, the Forum is our equivalent to an annual general meeting.  It is open to anyone who wishes to attend and provides you with an opportunity to hear about developments on the Thames and the PLA over the last year.

Last year we pursued vigorously our new strategy to Protect, Improve and Promote.  Important developments included: the publication of the first Air Quality Strategy for any UK port; substantial and ongoing investment in our pilotage service; and the launch of the Thames and London Waterways Forum by the deputy mayor for transport, Val Shawcross CBE, with Thames Vision goals at its heart.

Chief executive, Robin Mortimer, chief harbour master, Bob Baker and chief financial officer, Julie Tankard will give a series of short presentations at the start of the Forum touching on the main developments in the year and looking to prospects for the future.  In particular, we plan to share our investment strategy, setting out how we will support growth in the river economy, improve facilities for river users and enhance the environment.

Following the presentations there will be a question and answer session chaired by Christopher Rodrigues.  Members of the PLA Board and senior management team will be on hand to answer any questions then, or afterwards, to catch up over refreshments.

Detailed arrangements for the Forum are as follows:

  • Date: Monday, 14 May 2018
