Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 – Thames Estuary channel dredging

Notice is given that the Port of London Authority has applied to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake maintenance dredging  in the Thames Estuary. Plans showing the position of the works may be inspected at Sheerness Library, 38-42 High Street, Sheerness, Kent, ME12 1NL.

Copies of the application and associated information may be viewed on line in the Public Register at www.gov.uk/check-marine-licence-register.

Representations or objections in respect of the application should be made in writing, giving an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent, to the Marine Management Organisation, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH, or alternatively emailed to marine.consents@marinemanagement.org.uk, within 28 days of 16 June 2016, quoting reference MLA/2016/00145.   The MMO will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation we receive.
