Port of London Authority public meeting at Museum of London Docklands

Anyone with an interest in the tidal Thames is welcome to attend the Port of London Authority’s (PLA) public meeting at the Museum of London Docklands on Monday 20 August.

The PLA has planned the meeting to provide an opportunity to discuss current and future matters related to the river (between Putney and Crossness); it is due to start at 6.30pm.

Chairing the meeting will be PLA chief executive, Robin Mortimer, alongside chief harbour master, Bob Baker. Other members of the harbour master’s team will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

The meeting will begin with a short presentation on Thames and PLA developments. This will be followed by a Q&A/discussion addressing any matters of interest to those attending.

“These meetings are another important opportunity to us to engage directly with stakeholders about developments on the Thames,” said Alistair Gale from the PLA. “We look forward to welcoming people to the Museum on the evening of 20 August.”

The meeting starts at 6.30pm and refreshments will be available from 6.00 pm. The nearest public transport is: West India Quay DLR; Canary Wharf underground station (Jubilee Line); and River Bus services to Canary Wharf Pier.

If you have any questions or topics of interest that you’d like to raise at the meeting, please send them (along with confirmation of your attendance) to: [email protected]
